I got a customer who is trying to make his system louder so far we hav gutted the interior and hav dynamatted and sound proofed the entire car. I was wondering if it will make any difference if we dynamat the sub box

I think dynamatting that would be a waste of Dynamat.

In order for damping to be effective, you must increase the mass of the panel by 50%. That's a TON of Dynamat. Anything under that amount of damping is not going to be worth the time or effort you'd have to put into it.

It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."
