I used to work at a stereo shop in college (for the famed Scott Owens from Pioneer).  I now have a job where I will be getting a new company vehicle.  I will be driving a lot so I will be designing a full system that I will eventually remove and place into a newer Jeep down the road a couple years.

Here is the vehicle that I will be designing the system for as well as the product I have in hand.  My plans are incomplete and I will be wanting to add some significant help up front on the low bass, maybe a 6.5" subwoofer or two.  I am looking for thoughts and input on the whole system, but especially some suggestions on FRONT subwoofers or very capable midbass woofers.

VEHICLE:  2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee

HEAD UNIT- Likely a Pioneer AVIC-Z140BH.  I have several accessories from Pioneer, thus I'm loyal to the brand for the HU.  Looking to have NAVI for work travel and all the bluetooth, etc.

FRONT STAGE:  1 pair - Pioneer Premier TS-C520PRS (5.25" premier components from my days at Edge Audio).

FRONT SUB(MID)WOOFERS:  UNKNOWN - but have considered DDaudio 6.5", JL Audio 6W3V3's, open to any other suggestions, maybe simply 1 x Boston G1 8"?

REAR STAGE/FILL: Factory speakers likely powered from the HU or from 2 extra channels I believe I'll have from my amplifiers.

SUBWOOFERS:  in Fiberglass:  2 x Boston G3 10" Dual 4Ohm - Boxes to be split with one behind each wheel well.  May go ported (or us their passive radiators) if I can get my hands on something that will help the bass response up front to be tighter.

AMPLIFIERS:  I went hog wild and bought 3 Boston GT-42 Amplifiers.  That's up to 900 watts RMS per amplifier and up to 12 channels.  Of course I will take advantage of bridging and the built in crossovers.

Any suggestions for a pair of resonable front sub/mid-woofers is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!  - Mike

*BUMP*

Is there anyone out there that can suggest a great front stage bass setup?  Again, I appreciate any input.
