Hello, recently I came across acquiring a BAMF 5500W Amp and I am to sure how the wiring works, due to the fact there is two power receptacles and two ground receptacles. I wired it figuring just using one set of them and the amp runs fine. But I'm I loosing performance, due to the fact that all power receptacles are not hooked up. Right now I have my stock battery and then an After Market Lithium 12V Deep Cycle.
How would I go around hooking this up with the dual power?

A Lithium battery? How are you charging and connecting that since you "can't" charge Li batts with normal alternators, not connect them in parallel with lead-acid batteries?
Measure the voltage between the +Batt and GND terminals at high output and compare that to the battery/alternator voltage.
You probably have a large voltage drop. That's why dual terminals are provided.

You must feed each power terminal with a 4Gauge wire. Same for the ground. There are 2 each because if driven hard, that amp will draw too much current and melt the lone connector. Do yourself a favor and power both, and ground both as well.

That all depends what the OP wants.
For some, a wet is more suitable (eg SPL comps).

Ah sorry, this was re the Lithium battery. They need a totally different charging regime. Besides, I can see why anyone would want to use them in an automotive situation.
I thought is was about auxiliary batteries or whether AGM or wet etc.
The main issue in this thread is to use a 12V automotive battery.
From there you get the normal suggestions:
- wet cell for cranking (assuming it's in the engine bay)
- AGM if in a non-vented area - eg, cabin, boot/trunk, etc.
- AGM if rarely used - eg, collectors cars etc (they normally only need recharging yearly).
- for audio use - depends on budget over life-cycle, and sometimes performance criterion.
