Where is the factory amp in car. I have taken off the subwoofer grill looking thing in the right rear corner of the vehicle and dont know what too look for or where too look. Any help would be appreciated.

-Would it be the best to bypass this amp by just running speaker wire from the output of the amp and connect it too its respective wire(for speakers) in the wiring harness?

yes that is how you bypass any factory amp and make sure to disconnect the speaker wire from the factory amp before hooking it up to the new radio. the factory amp should be under the floor in the back on the passenger side. you will have to remove some panels in the floor and probably on the side to get a good view of the wires.
