I need to wire 4 dvc woofers. Each woofer has a 4ohm vc and a 2 ohm vc.
I am trying to keep the impedence no lower than 2 ohms. Is this possible

No this is not possible as they either have 2 4 ohm coils or 2 2 ohm coils.

It is possible to wire all 4 with a final load of greater than 2 ohms. What kind of woofer is this with 2 different impedance voice coils? I have seen this in the commercial end, but never in an automotive driver.

Using the 2 ohm coils, wire each pair in series, for a 4 ohm per pair load. Parallel those at the amp for a 2 ohm load.

It is actually for a home project. I thought this forum would be some help. These are Watkins DVC woofers used in older infinity speakers. Any ideas??

4 ohms + 2 ohm on each speaker in series = 6 ohms.  Qty 2 @ 6-ohms in parallel = 3-ohms load on the amp.  To wire all 4 onto the same amp channel, wire the sets in series (although I recommend using a stereo amp with each set @ 3-ohms per channel.)

Generally they intend you use only one of the coils.

Is that right?  Well then that makes it easy...
