I have a 2009 Altima 3.5 SE with 2 12inch W7s ran by a Mono Logic 4000D and and interior amp Logic 1004. On the bass I am getting major feed back. The bass RCAs are ran from the head unit to a Clarion Cross Over then to a Epicenter and lastly to the amp. Everything is ran 0 ga. my back battery has an excellent chassis ground and so does my amp. (all paint scraped off, on actual body not a glued panel and ground terminal doesn't move). When I put on my head lights the subs pop, when i put on my blinkers they pop lightly to how the blinker flashes, when I press my air horn (which is not ran to horn switch but to a separate button) it lightly pops and when I turn my bass amp on it hums lightly. Sometimes if I were to leave my bass switch on and turn on or off the car the subs would pop loudly. The pops from the blinkers and air horn are very light when i turn on the head lights its a little louder but it is very loud when the car the amp is left on and i turn on or off my car. Any idea what it can be? This hasnt happened before for the pass month or so it just recently happened. RCAs and power are ran on separate sides and most of the RCAs are high end.

It's not feedback, that's impossible. Sounds like major grounding issues, and likely a defective head unit as indicated above. Please read the grounding posts in the Hot Topics section, and while you're at it make sure your gain is set properly.

Support the12volt.comI have a pioneer 930bt i believe. I noticed that my bass amp really only needs one RCA plugged in for the bass to work .. unplugging a certain one doesnt make the sound worse or better. should this be happening. I also noticed one on my rca heads on the bass amp might be broken. I will change and update you guys. Thanks
