Hello

I ve been doing some research on upgrading amps and speakers on my 2001 Jaguar XJ8 with the Alpine premium system, but have had no luck. All I find is to completely change everything custom or leave as is.

Well Im just curious as to what would happen if  I just run a Hi/low converter from the wiring of the original powered sub in the back to an external amp and sub? Not sure if because the signal going to factory sub is already powered that it will distort signal to new external amp and sub.? All I want is some more bass, mids and hi's sound decent. All help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
