hi,
i recently replaced my stock vw oem cd head unit in my 2006 polo with a new kenwood kdc-b61u. problem is the lack of am reception. the stock vw unit played am perfectly clear but the new unit gives very faint am reception with lots of noise. Everything else,including fm reception plays perfectly. any suggestions?

Couple thoughts... did you attach the power antenna wire(if present)...? Did you use an Antenna Adapter? If so, is the adapter bad...?
