From those of you who have these subs or those of you who sell and install them daily.

What is your opinion in a non competition setting on using the JL 1200/1 on these subs will it be sufficient.
It won't be a competition system it will mainly be listened to at sane levels most of the time for daily driver duties. BUT when I want it to hit will this amp deliver the goods sufficiently or should I buy another and do one amp per sub. These subs are the dual 4 ohm coil cvx's and will be in a truck with a bed cut.

I already own the amp so it's a pre existing piece of equipment.

I recommend completing your installation.  Use the amp you have.  Listen to it.  If it's not what you want, then you can decide what upgrades you need.

You must wire the voice coils of each driver in series. Then parallel the speakers at the amp. That amp will not run at below 1.5 ohms.

Anyone care to volunteer how they think the 1200/1 JL amp will work with 2 of the kicker cvx 15's
