cool thanks man, the only reason i ask is because ive had a set of american bass VFL comp 15's sitting in my corner for the longest time and id finally like to do something with them. they are completely custom made by american bass and the guy i bought them from didnt have any specs at all nor did their website even mention a VFL comp, only mention the regular VFL woofers. i need to know how to make a competition box for them

You can also purchase a tool like the Woofer Tester Pro from Parts Express. It's what I use.
