Hello  all.

I have a problem i hope you can help me with.

I have a 2009 Nisson Murano SUV. It has several sound systems in it such as AM/FM, IPOD, Satelite Radio, and something called a "music Box" (the music box allows me to copy up to 50 CD in it and replay them whenever I want.). I have so much hearing problem, that I can't really understand any of the words in songs and so I have to turn the volume up very high and that drivesmy wife and other pasangers crazy. The net result is that I rarely listen to music anymore. I was hoping that some sort of ear phones would help, but I know so little about that sort of thing.
Hope you can help.

thanks for any help you can suggest

Ron

You can always turn up the music when you are driving solo. posted_image

When everyone else is present, you can turn the radio down and have everyone sing to you.

Wearing headphones while driving is illegal in some states. https://drivinglaws.aaa.com/laws/headsets/

That being said there are many ways to connect a headphone to an audio system ranging from simple DIY wiring to external headphone amplifiers. Here's a really cheap headphone amp for your consideration. Amazon dot com link.

Thanks for your advice.  I live in Nevada so there is no problem with wearing a headset.  I looked at your suggestion and that looks like it would be perfect for my problem.  The only thing i have not figured out is where would i connect it to my stereo.  i do have an 3.5 aux input on the front of the stereo but would i not need to connect to an output plug.?

Again  Thanks for your help. if i can get this to work  it will change my driving life forever.  Thank you

Yes, you need an input to it just like to any other amplifier. If your head unit has line level outs, use that, or if not purchase a line-output converter (LOC) and connect to the speaker outputs.
