hello im new to this forum and thought it might be a good place to get help. im putting two 12" kicker compVT behind the seats in my regular cab s10.  im struggling to build a box with at least 1cu ft airspace per sub and still have a place to mount my two amps. has anyone here done this or something similar?  ive got a kenwood 1000w amp pushing the subs and a 1500w crunch amp powering my other speakers. im sort of new to this and any comments would be greatly appreciated. thanks

jordan

Place your seat where you want it and give us the dimensions of the total area behind the seat. We need total width available, total height available, and depth at the bottom and depth at the top of the box.

the box can be up to 25" but would prefer to be 17" (for intereiror reasons). base (bottom) can be as wide as 8"and at the top 4" if box is 17" tall and 2" if box is 25" tall. and the back board can be 52" across max. srry if i dont make sense. i can get 1ft^3 air per box pretty easy but mounting my amps are what im having a hard time with. im 6'2" so i cant scoot the seat up too far.

also if im leaving out anything important just ask im a newb.

Using 3/4 inch stock, and the 17 inch dimensions you gave, the box will be 1 cubic foot per woofer. You will have to find somewhere to mount your amplifiers.

thanks idiot lol  jk    iv been doing alot of thinking and even more google searches and my next idea is too mount the amps to the top of the cab. or maybe in the bed but i use it alot and it would probably get wet.
