I have a Pioneer DEH7400-MP head unit and I recently purchased the CD-RB10 auxiliary adapter to use with it. I bought the adapter so I could connect my Imation Rip Go mp3 player to my head unit. When I connected the adapter to the unit nothing happened. I looked at the owner's manual for the head unit and it said to push the function button until auxiliary showed up, but auxiliary never showed up on the display. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have the mp3 player turned on and switched to line out rather than headphones. I am open to any suggestions. Thanks!

You have to hold the function button down for about 5 seconds with the radio off. power on but hold source for a couple of seconds and it will turn off. A menu will pop up then hit function or down a couple of times and aux will appear then hit right to turn it on. Then turn the radio back on by hitting source and then AUX will be a new source you can use.
