I'm realatively new to the world of 12 volt audio and was shopping around for pieces with which to build my first real car system. During my search I have run across a sub-brand of MTX called coustic which seems to offer decent quality at a reasonable price. I am mainly interesed in their amplifiers and subs. Thought input by some of the sites more versed members on these products would be helpfull. You can find pics and specs at
www.coustic.com . Input is greatly appreciated.

If quiters never win, and winners never quit, who the heck came up with the idea that you should quit while your ahead?
Agreed. I put Coustic components into the doors and dash my daughter's neon, and they sounded really tight. 6-1/2" seperates for $100. Not bad!
Wanting to run 2 of their 801DB monoblocks powreing four 12 inch Coustic CF124 subs, a 481QE 4 chanel to run Pioneer REV components (front) and REV coaxials (back fill) and a 240SE to power two 8 inch woofers (brand yet undecided) in the doors. My head unit would be either a Pioneer DEH-P8400 or a JVC KD-SH9700 and frequencies would be controled by a Coustic XM-6. Not wanting to get into big competition or anything yet, but does this sound like a decent seutup for an entry lever car?
