i have the opportunity to sell my BL18 with box for about the same as a SP4. i want to keep at least the same SQ as the BL but i am looking for more volume. how good is the SP4 on quality?

i would (i think) replace my kicker ZX1500.1 with a crashendo BC3500D for the SP4.

what do you think?

i have all the wood for it but not enough time to build it. work has just been to crazy. i wanted to start today but i started the day with a roof leak at one of my apartments and a subsequent power outage due to water damage. in any event i dont see any reason why i couldnt use the same design for the sp4 that i had mocked up for the BL. only difference might be a slightly longer port for lower tuning... does that sound right to you?
