does anyone know the name of the part that will eliminate the speaker pop when i turn on the radio i know radio shack sells it just dont remember the name of it oh i replaced the factory radio

You need a 5 volt regulator on the turn on line

Take 2 470 ohm 1/2 watt resistors. Wire them in series. Connect the remote wire from your aftermarket radio to one end of the device. Ground the other end of the device. Connect the factory amp turn on wire to the junction between the 2 resistors. Insulate the device and enjoy pop free audio.

Uh a simple solution is just put a 1k resistor on the remote turn on wire off the deck then hook the other side up to the remote turn on in the vehicle. No more pop

1k resistor usually does the trick. Some times I've had to bump it up to 1.5 but eitherbway that always does the trick.
