So i have a Boston acoustics gt-2125 amp.
Wanting to run Bridged, 2 ohms: 600 watts x 1 channel.
I have an existing sealed dual 10" box i can use and just find two 10's
Or I'm looking for a single 12" With a box. Can anyone help me out?
Budget is $150 with shipping.
Thanks very much.

most multi channel amps will not run 2 ohm bridged. they will run 2 ohm stereo, meaning that each channel can have a 2 ohm load on it but this usually translated to only a 4 ohm load stability when bridged. even though the specs might say it id still be cautions when you play that amp, i have seen a spec sheet have typos and be completely wrong about what the amp does. it might play just fine but it might also get really hot depending on where you mount it.
not to mention that those power ratings are bogus, how is an amp going to make 600 watts with only 40 amp fuse rating. 40 x 14.v volts is only 576 and that would assume %100 percent efficiency, and seeing how it is a class A/B amp i would put the efficiency at around 75%, leaving you with 432 watts total with a solid voltage supply. any voltage drop and you lose even more power.
with budget of 150 i would go for the single 12, that way you can afford a single better sub instead of two cheap subs that wont sound good. i would also build a box for it if you have the resources to build it yourself, otherwise the only prefab box that i can really recommend with a good conscious is a Probox super bass box. other prefab boxes are cheap and they dont sound really good to me.
