I just bought a 12" Pyle subwoofer but the speaker didnt come with specs on how to build the box. anyone out there that could help me figure it out???

hmm, funny i just saw your post on car audio classifieds and i flip to here and realize its the same person. anyway, pyle doesnt really give you specs that would be useful to build a box nor do they even give you a recommendation. this means that you will have to use some trial and error if you want to build a box yourself.
from experience, the sub is small, takes about 700-800 rms, i would say shoot between 1.3 and 1.8 cubic feet ported tuned to around 36Hz. any bigger and you will probably lose control of the sub at high volume. you can use the sub woofer box and port calculators to come up with the final dimensions to fit your ride. if the first box doesnt sound right then keep trying man, like i said, trial and error.
