I have a kac-923 amp that im trying to connect a 12" tsc 12D pro series tsunami sub dvc, how I have the sub wired is one positive terminal on one vc to the other positive on the other one, then negative to negative on the other vc, then a positive from one voice coil and the negative from the other vc, to the amp which is connected to the bridge mode on the amp, the coils are both 4ohm which I followed a diagram on here to make them 2 ohm to the amp??
the amp gets burning hot and the sub doesn't sound like it should, any help please how to wire this sub right to this model amp??

I was just told that if I run it the way I have the sub wired to 2 ohm that I will blow fuses cause im trying to have the amp do twicw as much as it should when I have the switch on amp to 2ohm instead of 4 ohm and I shouldn't have it bridged on amp?? please help I don't know what to believe and how can I run my 4ohm dvc sub to just 4ohm???

If that is a 2 channel amp, it is not 2 ohm mono stable. You need to connect one voice coil to one channel, and the other voice coil to the other channel.

and how can I do that, kinda new to this stuff still, never had to connect each voice coil to each channel before, then what ohms would that be putting to the amp?

Do you see where the amp is labeled Left + and -. And Right + and -?
Can you distinguish the 2 separate voice coils and determine which terminals are + and -?
Connect the positive terminal of voice coil 1 to the left positive terminal of the amp. Connect the negative terminal of voice coil 1 to the left negative terminal of the amp.
Connect the positive terminal of voice coil 2 to the right positive terminal of the amp. Connect the negative terminal of voice coil 2 to the right negative terminal of the amp.
This will yield a 4 ohm stereo load. This is the ONLY safe way to connect this speaker to this amp. You have the wrong impedance speaker or the wrong type of amplifier if you INSIST on getting maximum power out of your amp.

thanks for the info, I ordered a mono amp from eabay on Friday so I think ill just wait till I get my amp
then when I get my mono amp whats the best way I should wire my sub then, the same way I have it now to 2 ohms?

the kenwood kac-923 amp I have now says its 2 or 4 ohm stable?

The Kenwood amp is 2 ohm Stereo stable. Not 2 ohm mono stable.
