I purchased this amp, which is an 800 watt RMS at 1-ohm stable mono. Pioneer
I also purchased two of these subs, they claim to be DVC 4-ohm but if you look at the pictures they do not actually have two places to wire from they only have one positive and one negative with a switch for 2-ohm and 8-ohm, They are 100-400watt RMS.

My first question is what would be the proper way to wire these particular subs to get them both at 1-ohm from the amp.
Do I treat them as 2 SVC 2-ohm subs for wiring purposes? such as this?
Wiring
Next is the enclosure, I have 3/4" MDF that I'm planning on building my sealed enclosure out of. I want to build an L-shaped enclosure behind my center console onto my back seat, as either an arm rest or if I need more internal volume a dividing wall between rear seats. I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma double cab I should mention. Here is a forum link to what I have in mind but I want to do two subs he only has the one.

So as far as this goes, Which would be the optimal facing direction for both the subs in this type of enclosure and should I put a divider in between them on the inside of the enclosure.

I think it's safe to say that it really doesn't matter. At least standing waves won't be an issue!

You will never achieve fantastic sound quality out of it, but you will definetly get what your after... Just get as much space as the subs require and you will be ok.

What do I personally think? It looks like my ass! But I don't have to drive it and it's certainly your easiest option, so may as well go for it.

Yes, you set the DVC switch to 2-ohms and wire the subs in parallel for a 1-ohm net load. As to your enclosure, as long as the internal volume is correct (or within 10%) the shape does not matter. Mount the drivers where they fit and so that they are facing into the cabin.
