Hey guys my friend here wants to install a system in his car but the thing is he only has one amp 5500 watts. The speakers he have are two 10 inch Pioneer champion dual coil series that are both 2 ohms and he has two Rockford 12 inch dual coil subs that are 4 ohms. I have know clue on how or what method would be best to wire these speakers to go to this one amp, any help tips, ideas, guidance or anything that you can do to help would be appreciated.

What is the impedance of each voice coil on both sets of speakers? From what you wrote, we have no idea if the pioneers are dual 2 ohm, or dual 4s paralleled for a 2 ohm net per speaker.

The Pioneers are dual coil and rated at 2 ohms each and Rockford subs are both dual coil at 4 ohms each. Nothing has been wired so far.

Can you post the model numbers of the amplifier and the subs?

I can not explain to you what "nothing" is in a scientific way. What makes matters worse is you won't notice it when you finally have the opportunity to experience it.
