I am having trouble finding a turn on signal for my amps. Problem is that this is a 2012 Buick Lacrosse with Retained Accessory Power

all fuses seem to have constant on

does anyone know of where to get a turn on/off signal on newer cars like this? or how to wire a relay?

Everything I have found in the forums so far is based on old school wiring which actually turns off with the key removed :)

Are you using the factory head unit? Try this: https://www.pac-audio.com/productDetails.aspx?Productid=1026&CategoryID=28

Ah, Complete information is always useful. In that case may I ask what are you hoping to accomplish? What are you adding to the system?

sorry about that
I am adding a JBL MS8 processor, and 2 add on amps
I will only be running front speaker channels and sub

JBL needs a remote turn on signal, but factory turn on signal is GM data bus and works with GM RAP (Retained Accessory Power)so things run like 15 minutes after turning off engine

using factory amp trigger turns the MS8 on and off every few minutes
