i bet someone makes an adapter that turns that changer port into an input.
have you researched that option?
it may not be talked about in the owners manual.

If your system moves you physically and not emotionally, you have wasted your money.
When I have this situation, I use an RF Modulator that goes in-line with the factory antenna. The modulator will have the L/R RCA input. That means, yu set the modulator for 88.1 or 88.3 MHZ for the FM radio.
I had a 2000 Avenger ES with two CD Changers, both Modulated. No noise, and no interference.
Also, I don't see a CD Changer input/controller port on that, it has the port for the Kenwood Navigation system.
It is supposed to have MP3 and WMA playback, so if you're planning on connecting something else to play music, you can burn MP3 files to a disk, and play them from the disc as FILES.
You can fit about 140 MP3 files on one CD.
