Guys i need a bit of advise. Got a 2013 fiat 500 with stop start (will cut out in traffic and restart when foot removed from brake)
I have installed a alpine ics-X7 unit. now the problem is every time the stop start cuts in to restar the car it causes the alpine unit to power off and then repower up.
So im thinking i need a relay or a type of thing like that. that will keep the ignision feed wire live to the alpine when the car starts to restart.

Any ideas ?

use the relay setup so that the radio stays on until the door is opened.

I doubt that the OEM radio does this. How did you power your Alpine? Did you use the vehicle's entertainment system power?

Agreed, Accessory has to be ran separately on these and if that was the case the ac and heater would probably cycle off as well as the radio.
