I am running JL HD900/5 hooked up to a factory Bose navigation head unit through a PAC AOEM-GM1416. I am getting a turn off pop when the Retain Accessory Power shut off and when I start the truck (amp is fire up when door open for the chimes the shuts off when starting). I am using the amp wire coming off the PAC module I have thought about hooking my remote though to a snubbed relay as a trigger drawing from a constant powers source so I can get a cleaner shut off, but I figured I would ask the experts here first. I don't think it matters, but I am running a JL 10" TW3 sub, JL 6.5" C5 and JL 4x6 C2

I always got POP till I bought amps that do not POP. I buy the ones that specifically say soft ON/Off feature, you do not get a POP on or off.

When my AMPS come on, mo POP, then I turn the radio on, I get the POP from the radio audio, but NOT when I start the car with the radio left on from key-off (turns off at door open), to come back on with Key-On.

You don't need to run the remote lead through ANY relay, just use an ignition source, or wire a button for the remote. IF your switching on/off MAIN power with relays, you can get that too.

Is the turn off pop comming through all the speakers or is isolated to just the subs or door speakers? I just did a complete system in a '13 silverado and got no pop at all, I was also using a metra harness and a kenwood double din though.

It would also be a really good idea to use a relay off the rap shutdown wire instead of tying straight in to a low current ignition wire, without looking it up I believe rap power is yellow at the BCM somewhere (maybe the green plug if i remember right) and you can grab 12v at the driver dash end cap it's RED / white.
