Off the top I'm new at this. You'd think it'd come easy as I work with computers and mobile devices, but I'm lost. I want to hook up my sub and amp to my stock radio. I have the rca adapter or inline converter but am lost as to what wires to tap into behind the deck. and im lost with the remote wire as well. Could someone please share some knowledge to me so I can figure this out

Do you have the premium factory system or not. I do not recall if it was called the dimension system on those or not..

You need to get the wire schematic for your car's radio harness, so you know which wires at the radio harness are the speaker output leads, to splice in your HI-LO (line) adapter, then the RCA lines to the AMP, then SUB to AMP.
Depending where the AMP is mounted, will dictate where you get power & ground from, and your remote turn-on lead. I would install a separate switch for your remote turn on, and run that to the amp, it only needs to be a +12 through the switch, then to the amp. If your radio harness pin-out shows a +12 when the radio it turned on, then you can use that for your remote lead. IF you only want the amp to come on with ignition, then you can use that as the remote turn on.
Do not run the amp's power and ground with the RCA cables to the amp. Use good twisted pair RCA cables, like T-SPEC, or similar.
I am fortunate to have the battery in the trunk, and my amps bolted to the rear seats... My remote turn on is run to a fuses accy that comes on with ACCY/RUN positions.
