kenwood kec 300 crossover din plugs?

So long story short, my neighbor dropped off a huge box of audio supplies today. Went through it and found a Kenwood KEC-300 crossover. It has a standard RCA input, but five DIN plug outputs. Does anyone know where I can find these "DIN plugs"? I found a few pictures of it online, and what looks to be a part number.

I can tell you how to build one.

Take your right hand, looking at the palm of it with your fingers pointing back at your face, Pinky is remote turn on, next finger is open. Middle finger is shields of both left and right RCA cables next finger is left signal. Your thumb is right signal. That is how you make the 5 pin Male Din plug that will plug into the female outputs of the unit. The tips of your fingers are the pins of the din. Solder connections are to the back side of your hand.


It has been 20 years, I may have left and right backwards, but I am certain of the other connections.

Before you spend money even on the raw parts, you do know that there is no need for an outboard crossover in today's times.   Even my 80 dollar retail deck has both high pass and low pass crossovers built into it. Every amplifier you buy today has crossovers built into them as well.

that was a good xover in its day, I found it good as a small line driver and it improved noise problems, some times even iliminating ground loop noise. i am an idiot is right about making the din plugs, I did it all the time in the late 80's

I've got the stock headunit in my 1995 3000GT VR4. I'm planning on keeping the stock unit, but installing aftermarket amplifiers (since the VR4's already have small amps under the passenger seat), speakers, and a single 10" subwoofer. I have an equalizer built into the headunit, but I figure I can have a little more range of adjustment by using this.
