I'm changing out the head unit in my bro's truck and I'm having trouble with the harnesses. I found the Schosce that matches the speakers and the power, etc. But out of the factory stereo there's another slim harness. I searched on line for the correct wiring harness from multiple brands and they all are the same but none come with that extra little piece. I think it's a pre amp or something cause when i leave it out of the factory stereo everything works except for the sound until i plug it in. I can't find any where how or what the sound work with the new stereo. HELP!!!

Is there a pink wire on that other harness? If so, that is the amplifier turn on wire. Connect your new radio's Blue/White or blue wire to that wire.
