I'm confused, do the Kappas smoke or does the amp smoke? Either way, you've got a problem. Are the Kappas out-of-the-box new or did you buy them online? Same with the amp. I've been seeing an awful lot of amps bought online coming back as defective lately.

That amp defiantly out powers your subs but you should not have a problem with them smoking. I don’t know how you have them wired but you can wire them in parallel for a 1 ohm load on the amp. If this is how you have it wired and it is smoking then you might want to try this wiring configuration https://www.audiobahninc.com/tech/wiring/Series_Parallel_dual_4_ohm.pdf

have to wait to try this I had to send them off to get new ones. I bought them from cartoys. Would some of the amp wireing cause smoke to come out off my subs?
