Hey guys. I was wandering if any of you are familiar with the OEQ-1 from Rockford fosgate? I know it's old. but that's really why I bought it. But what I was wandering. would this be best used with my sub amp that I have wired in mono? Or with my other amp for my mids and highs? and would you suggest using it with a crossover like comes with component sets or not? thanks for any help guys! Davidposted_image

Best if used with both your subs and high end drivers. No need for an external crossover. Unless your amplifiers are from the same era as the EQ, they should have crossovers built into your amplifiers.

ok. it only has 1 set of rca inputs. so do I use Y connectors and run both amps through it to my subs and components without another crossover?

Does either of your amplifiers have input and output RCA jacks?

Out of your deck into the OEQ, out of the OEQ to the input of one amp. Out of that amp into the other amp. No need for a y adapter.
