Friend wants a double din installed in her Malibu. Looked on crutchfield and they say its not replaceable. However Metra sells a dash kit for it. Anyone done one yet and can recommend all the parts I need. Not worried about using the onstar but would like to keep everything else if possible. Chimes, steering wheel controls maybe also. Thanks in advance.

Above are the metra part numbers of the things you need. They do not show the steering wheel control module for that vehicle. But I am pretty sure the ASWC-1 will work for that vehicle.
