i have a pioneer deh815. i am going to have two small fans ventilate my amp rack, and am running them off of a relay. i need to know if the remote wire is 12v positive, or does it send ground?

the guy at the electronics store (old guy with a cigarette nearly burning his lip off) was thinking it was only a ground signal,
