Hey guys, I blew my old kenwood 800w kenwood amp that was "powering" my 2, 12" 800peak watts/400rms 4ohm subs in a ported Audiobahn enclosure in the truck on my 96' Jeep Grand Cherokee. Note: I bought the subs, box, and amp for $50 so it was definitely worth it for a cheap starter option.
I also have 4,6.5" 3-way performance series Kenwood speakers in all 4 doors powered by a Kenwood 4ch amp and I also rewired all my doors with 16g to handle the load.
Basically i'm looking the cheapest amp possible to properly power the subs, so that I can rightly sell everything as a package once I have my enclosure built and have the $ for the setup I want.
I'm pretty set on a Planet Audio 1600w 4ch full range A/B amp ($85 off amazon) and plan on bridging 2 channels, at 2 ohms to obtain 800rms x 2ch powering the subs 100% and being in the 75-150% range. Which wiring style would be best...series or parallel? Also, if anyone has any other decently priced amp's in mind, please lemme know.. Any and all help is appreciated!!

That amplifier is not 2 ohm mono stable. It is 2 ohm stereo stable, but not mono.

I'm partially confused as to what you mean? Their website says:
Total Power Output 1600 Watts
Peak Power @ 2 Ω 400 Watts x 4
Bridged Power @ 4 Ω 800 Watts x 2
RMS Power @ 4 Ω 200 Watts x 4
Channel Separation = 90 dB
S/N Ratio (A-Weighted) 86 dB
Frequency Response 20 Hz to 20 kHz ±1 dB

I figured peak power at 2ohms being 400w x 4...that if I bridged my 2, 4ohm subs that it would produce 800watts rms, powering each sub 100%?
What amp would you recommend that will create 400 rms x 2 or 800w rms on a mono? I've heard mixed reviews about using mono or multi channel with subs

Just bridge channel 1 & 2 @ 4 ohms for sub 1, and bridge channel 3 & 4 @ 4 ohms to sub 2. BTW, this is a 400 watt amp, so bridging the channels will get you maybe 200 watts per sub. Not the amp i would suggest for your situation.
