How much difference can sound deading your car make in an install? I'm looking for SQ not SPL so i'm considering spending a fair bit of time on this. Do you think it's worth it?

Here is a good article https://www.eurotuner.com/techarticles/25062/index.html and I would defiantly suggest you do it. I would also suggest you use a product called Brown Bread https://b-quiet.com/brownbread.html

RAAMmat60 is much cheaper than BrownBread. RAAM Audio60mm thick, self-adhesive, aluminum backing. 62.5 sq. ft. for around $85.
