I have the AVH p49000DVD fold out player / receiver and I need an Aux input port. I already have one of the IP ports used for an iPod on the back of the receiver . I have come across some 10 dollar IP plug to RCA or 3.5mm plug adapters that I think go to the CD changer port . I am curious if these adapters even work before I go and remove the receiver.

Yes they work. But doesn't that deck have an AV input? 3 RCAs, Red White and Yellow? Use the red and white.

I honestly don't think this receiver has an input set of RCA plugs . That would be be the easiest route, but they are none.
