I'm kind of a freak about wanting as good as possible of a connections in my power runs for my amps.  Was wondering if a blob of that "electrical grease" in my distribution  and fuse block holes before I insert the wires might cut down on some of the inherant resistance and oxidation at that point.  If any one knows a good source for this stuff that would be great too.

You don't need a blob, a little bit of grease will do just fine. I use it on all of my connections and never had a problem . As for a place to get it you should be able to get it at any local electronics supply store and maybe Radio Shack. I don't buy it I get it from work. Now make sure that your distribution block and fuse holder are good quality because I've used it on cheap ones and the cheap platting just comes off.
