Tricky box to build. You will have to cut a hole in the back of it for the magnet to fit into, then use a piece of 1/4 inch stock to cover that hole. Very little depth, but you can fit a JL10w0v3. Do not build something that will only accept a flat woofer.

I highly recommend at least looking at this.

I would build something for the woofer you are looking to use. Depth is an issue. If you are looking for a strong shallow woofer, look at the Rockford Fosgate Power series slim subs. They are amazing for how shallow they are. https://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/t1s2-10
They even offer loaded enclosure with a port https://www.rockfordfosgate.com/products/details/t1s-1x10p
They are very impressive.
