Here's the problem,

I have a old jensen 4 channel amp. I was brought in 96 and the model number is A4000. I also have a Alpine V12 2 channel amp with a model number MRV-T303. Both amps are having the same problem, them seem to be getting power but no sound is comming out from the amps. I belive that the RCA input are damaged on both amps but when I open them up the boards seem to be in okay condition. Nothing seemed to be fried. What could cause these amps to come on but still produce no sound what so ever. I know that the problem isn't from the RCA, nor the head unit.

Also if anyone is intrested in buying these amp, I'm willing to let them go for little to nothing. Thanks

Pervy

Have you tried a different input (head unit)?

This is probably an obvious question, but is the remote power lead connected (and energized)?  Also, have you checked the fuses in the amps?

Does either amp have high-level inputs? If they do does the same thing happen? What ohm level are you running the speakers at? Not sure about the jensen, but most Alpine amps have a "Protect" light, is it on?
