If I am powering a set of components with 125 rms x4 amp, does that mean if i leave the tweeter switch on the crossover at 0 that the tweeter will receive the full 125 watts, if i put the tweeter switch to -3, it will get 62.5 watts, and if i set it to -6, the tweeter will receive 31watts. Is that how it works?

the 0, -3, -6 has nothing to do with the power, it is moving the crossover point 3 dB. It will receive full power no matter what position you have the jumper or switch in.

I do not believe this is correct. On ADS passive crossovers (for example) it's an attenuation setting for the tweeter, not a roll-off slope setting. Typically roll-off slopes are 6db, 12db, 18db, etc., and not measured in a negative as would be with attenuation.

What passive crossovers are you using?
