i have 4 rockford HX2's but im not sure wut to do about amps if anyone has any suggestions please tell me

Which version of the HX2's? RF makes Punch and Power HX2 series. Also which ohm model do you have?

i have a pontiac sunfire i wouldnt want to spend any more then 900 and i have the 4 ohm punch series the trunk is on its way to being finished its fiberglassed the 4 subs r in the middle and hoping to mount the subs on the sides or in the bac

also i guess a good question to ask is i plan to have the subs in a open setup but do u think it would be a good idea to port them im far enough into the fiberglass i could still change some of the design to port them thax

I would honestly suggest sealed enclosures, but if it's a choice between free-air and ported then I'd say ported. You loose too much SPL much with free-air setups.

With four RFD2212's (4ohm Punch HX2's 500RMS 1000Peak) you need 2000RMS minimum. My best suggestion is to use 2 class D amps rated at apx 1000 x 1 @ 1ohm and wire 2 subs per amp. I'd suggest two JBL BP1200.1 amps. That amp is 1ohm stable and rated at 1200 x 1 @ 1ohm. Two of them would have more than enough power to properly drive your subs (each sub needs 500 RMS and would be receiving apx 600RMS from the amps, which is still within the limits of the sub). Here's how you would wire the subs (I'm only posting 1 diagram, but each of the 2 amps should be wired like this)...

I hope you've either already upgraded or have plans to upgrade your alternator and battery because 2400 watts is gonna put a heavy load on your electrical system!
