Hey. For those experienced out there, i was wondering what brand of subs would sound best for Rock Music. I want something thats crispy and not muddy like something cheap. I know there are tons of brands out there, but i would like some suggestions to what would sound good for Rock Music, classic rock, or just something all around that would enhance whatever i am listening to. The occasional pounding of rap would happen, but just something that could thump and sound clear. Thanx

I'd be more concerned with getting the proper enclosure and the ideal dimensions for that, than about the brand of the sub itself.  There are many very good brands out there, but I think we'll all agree that you'd be happiest with a sealed box and a sub designed for use in a sealed box.

Is there any amount of money you're looking to spend on the sub? Or is that not really an issue?
