So I have my Orion HCCA 124 mounted in a sealed box I custom made. It is hooked up to a Planet Audio AC4000.1D monoblock amp. It just doesn't seem to be enough power for the sub. I have it wired at a 2 ohm load to the amp. That would put my RMS at 2000 watts. I thought 2000 watts would hit harder. Any suggestions on how to get more out of my sub?

Put it in a properly tuned ported enclosure.
