So I'm trying to figure out what the best position for my 2 12's are in the trunk of my Hyundai elantra, back seats folded down or not? And signs facing towards the back of the trunk or towards the front of the car etc. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on the matter? Also the carpet tends to slide around (not the sub enclosure just the carpet) and was thinking of getting some headliner spray adhesive. Had anybody used that before? Just want to spray it on the wood slat and bottom of carpet.

Do you want to use your back seat? Then close it. Should the woofers "point" forwards or backwards? Which way sounds better, leave them that way. As far as sliding around is concerned, you have not properly installed the system if anything is moving. Bolt it in place.

The box doesn't move it's the carpet piece that covers where my spare tire should go is what moves. I'm just going to fabricate a solid wood piece that covers the spare tire area (since i don't have one) and then use L brackets that go through the carpet into the wood piece and holds everything in place. No i don't use my back seat

OK upon closer inspection the "floor" of my trunk which my sub box sits is just a semi rigid plastic material with carpet over it, is starting to sag from the box weight. So I would like to build a full on Mount and just get rid of that plastic piece, since i have no spare tire underneath it there's room, or just get a piece of wood to take the place of the cheap cover and then can bolt my box to the wood and the wood to the car. Anyone know where to look for some design ideas?
