Ok call me a nOOb, I have been in stereo installations since the 70's ( you guessed it, I used Home speakers and manufactured my own amplifiers to drive em in my car...but in the last 15 years I have been out of the game..as a matter of fact, the owner of the "WICKEDEST SUB" title when I quit was Pyle.  Ok now that I have dated myself, I need to know if  MA1500XL  subs are worth gettin? Or am I just waisting my money.  I want pounding bass.  Nuff said.  I was hoping 2 of these bad boys with a 1800 watt amp would do the trick...any Ideas?

Thanks for the site:D

Never used MA Audio subs before, or heard them either. Here's the manual for the MA1500XL's. Since they are 4ohm DVC's rated at 600RMS 1200Peak, you'll want at least a 1200watt amp that is 1ohm stable (min rating of 1200 x 1 @ 1ohm). Wire like the diagram below...

I'm an RF fan, have been for years. The Rockford equivalent to those MA's would be the RFD2215 (Punch HX2 4ohm DVC 600RMS 1200Peak). Here's a link to the spec sheet for the RFD2215's.
