Is there a universal way of finding the power antenna wire? Why does the power antenna wire have to be connected behind aftermarket cars? thanks guys

the ant wire on after market hu are blue. with 12vdc. use dmm to see the voltage. if you can't find it run a 12vdc power wire to the remote and put a toggle switch on it. it's not the best way to go but it will work.

If I understand your question correctly, you're asking if you can use the head unit's +12 volt switched wire to also turn on an aftermarket amplifier?  Yes you can certainly do this, but I'd be careful with how many components you try to have it turn on.  I think in most cars it could handle both the head unit and two aftermarket components (2 amps, amp+crossover, etc.) with no problem.  I have used this kind of turn-on hookup many times before and it's never failed me so I'd say go for it!
