Are you running the speakers through the factory wires (assuming you connected the radio using a wiring harness adapter specific to your car)? If so, maybe you could try taking the Head Unit out and connecting a test speaker directly to one of the outputs on the head unit. Try checking for continuity with a multi meter from the head unit speaker outputs and also at the actual connection to speaker. If there is power coming out of the head and not reaching the speakers, then you found your problem.

there is no power coming out of the radio, ive tried the test speaker idea and it didnt even power it, but if i mess with it and just moving the wires it usually starts working then i can put it back in the dash and a while later it quits again so i have no idea what it is other than a bad ground>>>>>>>>> guess ill try running another ground!!!
thanks!

You might want to try new speaker wire. I had the same problem with my old car an "89" corolla. Sometimes just by hitting the dash, it would work. My speakers were always cutting out, so I ran new wires and I didnt have anymore problems. It is kind of a hassle but I would think that is your problem.
