I have a 95 Nissan hardbody 2wd 4 cylinder and I been looking for the right car audio wiring harnest too hook up my after market cd player properly because as of now it blows my tail lamp fuse and so far I looked up the wiring for a 95-97 and it did not match the wire colors in my truck so I started checking different years of the hardbody and so far I checked all years for the hardbody on this site and I cannot find any match for my wire harness at all.. now some other the older years of the make was closer than the 95 but still no match. any options without having to change my wiring in my truck? https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/stereodetail/1622.html

You used the trucks illumination wire as a ground wire. Simply cut the radios ground wire from whatever wire you have it connected to, and attach your radios ground wire to the metal framework behind the radio. Insulate the wire you cut it from.

There is no ground wire in the harness of a Nissan radio. They all mount to the metal of the framework. That is where they get ground.

RED / Blue is illumination.

I don't have a Nissan radio, I have an after market radio/cd player. It's a Jensen cd player the model # is MP6211 and I had a friend put it in but he didn't cut any illumination wire. But another thing I been looking into is the wiring for the radio set up under the dash and I cant find not one Nissan hardbody diagram that matches a 1995 or any other year I search...any ideas that will help. also on my cd player wire harness there is an orange wire that is for some reason the ground. dunno why though but I had a friend hook it up for me cuz I don't know wires much but since I been researching been learning for myself. but still confused when it comes to my truck

Again, using the illumination wire as ground will do this every time. You need to do what was already suggested, which should take care of the problem.

My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
