I'm curious if there is anyway that I can use my Multi meter to find out exactly what RMS output my amp is producing. I've been told there was a way but I can't figure out how. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks

well a ballpark way would be put the meter on AC set the gains and everything else, try not to clip the amp, measure on the speaker output then plug.............Power= Volts squared / resistance of the load(speaker)..it will give you a general idea..

most volt meters only go to about 20 amps, u would need a special current meter, that usually just clips around the power wire, clip it over then take the amp number times it by the voltage being used at the time and it will give damn close to exact results, make sure to test with the amp cold
