I got few questions and I would apperciate if anyone takes there time to answer it.

1. I just got a new amp and it has a EBC port on it whats that for?

2. The amp is mono but it has 2 + and 2 - speaker terminals how come?

1) The EBC is the electronic bass control. Its looks like a telephone wire with a knob on one end. It allows you to adjust the bass volume from where ever you mount the control (knob).

2) It has 2 speaker connections for convenience. It makes it easier to connect each speaker directly to the amp then having to bridge them together.

Basically the EBC is for controling your gain setting? With EBC can you get more bass out of your amp?

If I only have one sub should I bridge them? since it has 2 speaker connections.

what sub is it? single voice coil or dual? what amp is it and what is the power handling capability of the sub?

the EBC is basically a remote gain adjustment...sounds fancier to call it an electronic bass control thoughposted_image...
