i need to install a cd player into a vech, but the player has no speaker outputs, just rca's. can a line outout converter be installed backwards, so as to make the speaker wires, or is there a kit for this purpose.

get an amp and use the rca out puts. I think the reverse line out will work. but i never heard of doing that before. i'd get a amp.

A head unit with "just RCAs" is a pre-amp only and requires an outboard amp.

And no, using a LOC "installed backwards" will not work.
